Thanking him for continuing to collect rent money from his tenants; sending him a "new list of arears due to [him]"; describing why various tenants owe him money; giving instructions about which tenants must be made to pay and which may have their debts overlooked; noting that he has not heard from Lyde's son who planned to ask for assistance in his medical career; expressing his willingness to help Lyde's son.
